Synergy attend REC One in a Million Ceremony
On 6th June, Katie Spadafora, a Qualified Social Worker with the International Team was awarded the 2007 REC Agency Social Worker of the Year Award.
On 6th June, Katie Spadafora, a Qualified Social Worker with the International Team was awarded the 2007 REC Agency Social Worker of the Year Award. Joanna Chambers, Jo Latimer and Philip Poole were lucky enough to attend the awards ceremony with Katie at the House of Commons. It was a fabulous do with everyone wearing their finest (Synergy of course out did everyone else), drinking champagne and eating canapés like they did it every day of their lives.
The day started out with a meet and greet session at the Thistle Hotel in Victoria, where speeches were heard from Synergy’s 2006 One in a Million winner, Deborah Wilson and our very own Philip Poole! Phil was asked to speak as a result of Synergy locums winning the Social Work award for the second year running, and he certainly did us proud.
After the House of Commons it was back to the hotel where Jo-Elle joined the party and another of her candidates, William Morris, was given the Highly Commended Award for his transition from a temp to perm role. After the awards it was more celebrating and champagne for all. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by everyone, and did I mention there was champagne…?
