Synergy staff take part in Race for Life
Synergy employees Lucy Collins and Melissa Creevy recently participated in the ‘Race for Life’ where women are asked to walk, jog or run 5k in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The ‘Race for Life’ events take place on a regular basis across the UK and are one of the main ways in which Cancer Research raise donations to help them research preventions and cures for all types of cancer.
So far the girls have raised £500 between them for Cancer Research, if you wish to make a donation please visit one of the following pages: http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/lucycollins2

Cancer Research UK was formed on 4 February 2002 by the merger of the Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. It is the foremost cancer charity in the United Kingdom, and the biggest cancer research organisation outside the USA. It is accredited by the UK’s National Health Service as a health information provider. In the financial year 2006-7, the charity spent £315 million on cancer research, supporting the work of more than 3,000 researchers, physicians, nurses and other medical professionals in hospitals, universities and institutes throughout the United Kingdom.
The Synergy Group has a history of commitment to charitable causes and we have supported many different charities since our inception in 1997. Our three charities of the year for 2008 are The Blue Cross, PSP and Dragonflies.
